Charl Coetzee - a South African commercial attorney with 28 years’ experience and BLC and LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria. He has advised across multiple industries in more than 80 countries and holds an MBA in strategy from the University of the Witwatersrand. A former member of the Cape Law Society’s Technology Law Specialist Committee, Charl is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Cape Town, researching the intersection of Generative AI, copyright, and ethics, with a focus on future-fit governance and regulation.
